Important Notice Regarding Water Bills

At the Clayton Village Board meeting held Aug 12th, the following policy was adopted regarding water bill payments. Effective on the bill due 8/5/25, the following changes will be in place:
-Full Payment Required: Your entire water bill must be paid in full by 8am on the 16th of each month. (or shut off date indicated on bill if the 16th is a weekend or holiday)
-No Partial Payments: partial payments will no longer prevent disconnection.
-Service Disconnection: If payment is not received in full by the deadline, water service will be shut off.
-Reconnect Fee: A $50.00 reconnect fee will apply to restore service after shutoff. (Additional $50.00 fee for after-hours service reconnect)
Please make arrangements to ensure your bill is paid on time to avoid disruption of service and additional fees. If you have any questions, please contact the Village Office.
